Title: 31' Ford Rat

Media Used: Various colour pencils, pens

Ok so here it is - reckon this is one of my best pieces of the year ( prehaps a taste of whats to come in next year !!! ) So this is done on A3 with various colour pencils, and a bit of black pen. The Simpson Artistry logo was added with MS Paint.

Normally, I'm not a huge fan of modern large diameter alloy wheels on classic hot rods. BUT! This is art. Also, this is a rat rod. Individuality is one of the unifying features of the rat rod type.
Rat rod = someone tossed the rule book in the recycle bin.

Very true, I find that the large modern rims suite this Rat, and that they are black alloys make it even better. Chrome rims would have not looked that great - thanks for the look.

Yeah i was also gonna add that the whole drawing is sweet! How did you get your colored pencils to come of so smooth. I can't seem to get rid of the rough texture it leaves behind ,aye it's the surface or paper? Not sure haha thought I'd ask
